Wotans Nation was proud to be asked to preside over the hand fastening ceremony of Ross and Claire, two great Folkish people that decided to join their lives and their paths together. The ceremony was traditional in nature though blessed by rain was moved indoors. The bride to be arrived in horse drawn carriage and escorted by her father. The ceremony saw the combination of hand fastening with ring ritual and child rites ceremonies and was an event to behold. The celebration after saw a feast with homemade Meade, a roasted pig, music and traditional dance. The bride and groom held their first dance together then others joined in the celebrations. An amazing evening with some great people and Wotans Nation wishes the couple a long, fruitful and happy life!
